Elsie is a sweet 13 month old longhaired female who came to rescue as an owner surrender. Her “owners” had acquired her from a family who had adopted her at 4 months of age and sadly kept her crated most of her life! They had adopted her to get their autistic daughter who was afraid of dogs “over it”. Well, it didnt work so they crated her. She is sweet! Needs training and direction. Lived with a family for a short time and did well with their 5 yr old and 17 yr old children. Wanted to play with the 16 year old dog who was not willing to be a participant, but did play well with a puppy. Elsie would do well with a playmate with similar energy and older children only because of her exuberance. Will be placed on a spay contract!
