Due to the tremendous amount of heartworm positive dogs we have taken in the past few weeks we are in desperate need of donations to pay for their medical bills. Besides the positive dogs that have needed treatment we also have several that still need to be neutered/spayed.  At this point we are unable to continue to take any more dogs in need into our rescue because we do not have the money to get them vetted.  Any amount is greatly appreciated and helps to save another dog.

Adoption Fee is $400.00 unless stated otherwise.  All saints have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, wormed, and are on heartworm preventative, flea and tick control.

Puppy-Puppy: is around 18 months old.  He is one big hunk of love!!!  He loves everybody.  Every dog, every cat, every kid.  He just one big goofy love bug.  He did come to us positive for Ehrlicchia and Whip worm and is being treated for the next 14 days.  After that we will have him retested and he will be ready to go. His adoption fee is $400. 12/19*/2014

Banjo: has spent the last 2 years of his young life tied to a BIG chain.  In spite of this he is very very loving and wants to be spoiled constantly.  He is good with other dogs and cats and people but will need help with housebreaking.  His foster mom is working on it now.  His adoption fee is $400. 12/19*/2014

Izzy: is a young Australian Shepherd with gorgeous blue yes.  She’s a little girl and is leery of dogs for the first couple days but then warms up and really does want to play.  She will do fine in a family with kids. Her adoption fee is $150. 12/19*/2014

Lukey Lukey: is an Aussie mix.  He has changed from Lukey Lukey to Piggy Piggy.  He needs a family who can put him on a diet and bring him back to a healthy weight.  He is 2 years old and loves children.  He desperately needs a family of his own.  Adoption fee is $150. 12/19*/2014

Puppies (3 female more information below) Purebred Saint Bernard Puppies, 6 months old.  Up to date on shots and spayed/neutered. Please put in an application if interested in adopting. 11/14/2014

Rose: is the first of four 6 month old pups that have just come in.  These pups are purebred, short haired Saints. She has gotten her shots and is being spayed. Her adoption fee is $450.  If you are interested in Rose please fill out an application. 11/17/2014

Rosebud: is the second of four 6 month old pups that just came in.  She is current on her shots and being spayed. Her adoption fee is $450  If you are interested in adopting Rosebud please fill out an application. 11/17/2014

Ruby: is the third of the four 6 month old pups.  She is current on her shots and being spayed. Her adoption fee is $450  If you are interested in adopting her please fill out an application. 11/17/2014

Caroline: is a Saint Bernard/Great  Pyrenees Mix.  She adores people and is as sweet as they come.  She is fearful of other dogs so at this time we are unable to say whether or not she will get along with another dog.  Unknown yet about cats also.  She would make a great companion for a single person or a family with children. Her adoption fee is $150. 11/17/2014

Candy: is a tiny 24 pound little girl. We think she is part dachshund. She is very shy but gets along great with the other dogs. She barks at the cat. Her adoption fee is $150. 11/17/2014

Hans: is a wonderful 4 year old German Shepherd Mix. He weighs 61 pounds. He is available for foster at this time but not adoption as he is heartworm positive and not neutered. He will be starting his treatments immediately and neutered as soon as he tests negative. His adoption fee will be $150. 11/17/2014

WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Zeus lost his battle to Lymphoma. We were the last ones he saw when he went to sleep. On November 14, 2014 2:22 PM)

Saint Bernard Rescue of Tennessee is 501c3 non-profit rescue.

Zeus: Meet our Zeus, we were asked to take him the day he was to be euthanized. He liked to bite, chased people out of our house, went through the window after the neighbor. Fought with all the dogs and then one day, Zeus just walked up to Me (Pam) and leaned into me and hugged my side, and he was a changed dog ever since. He now lives to go to our events and meet and greet people. He loves everybody, and even though he is sick - he knew we were doing another event the other week and ran to the door so he could go too. He was devastated when we left him behind, because we knew he was to weak to do it. He is a very special boy - not only to us, but also everybody that meets him. We have had people come up to our events just to visit him again, because they saw him before.

He's our 3 year old Saint Bernard and he was recently diagnosed with Canine Lymphoma, a devastating cancer that if left untreated will kill him in a matter of months. Zeus is usually full of life and spirit and we hope to prolong his life with the help of chemotherapy that has been shown to be very successful in putting the cancer into remission. Zeus is coming home tomorrow morning, as he is starting to respond well to his treatment thus far, but still has a long rough road ahead. . They are very optimistic for him to pull thru with the treatments. He has not started eating yet, but they said he will shortly. He may be able to come to events shortly and do what he loves, meet new people with your help. He is the Ambassador for our Organization. We refuse to accept this fate of our little boy.

We need to raise $4000.00 for his treatment that he is receiving from University of Tennessee Veterinary Medical Center Zeus means the world to us and his is the face of our rescue at ALL of our events  and we would very much appreciate any small amount of help… Thank you so much! 11/5/2014

Bandit: is a 9 year old Sheltie/Chow mix.  His owners had to give him up as they could no longer care for him.  He’s a great boy!  He doesn’t bark and just loves to lay at your feet all day.  He gets along well with dogs, cats and kids but we believe he would prefer a quiet home with an older person or persons.  If you would like to adopt Bandit please fill out an application. 5/28/2014
