Ailsa Bell: (West Covina, CA) My friend needs help in locating her St. Bernard who escaped from her home New Year's Eve.  She suspects the fireworks caused Ailsa to bolt. She has contacted the local shelters and her local Police Dept (West Covina, CA) regarding her missing St Bernard.  Unfortunately Ailsa was not wearing her tags. Here are a couple of pictures of my lost doggie.  She is a 3 year old St. Bernard, spayed, 105 lbs. CONTACT; vashticita@yahoo.com 1/3/2012

He has a slight limp on one of his front legs. Thank you in advance for you help. Contact; Elyse 'ellybelly' Woda friendofthebirds@gmail.com 10/12/2011

Bernie: (Miami, FL) My wife and I got home Saturday night to find a Saint Bernard waiting patiently for us on our front steps. I guess you could say he found us. Why he picked our house and not any of our neighbors, I’m not sure. He was dirty, tired, full of ticks and fleas and thirsty. Very underweight too. But otherwise healthy. Seems young (by his teeth( and he’s not fixed). We gave him, literally, a bucket of water to drink and fed him. Miami in the summertime is not the best place for this breed. We hit 94 yesterday with 100% humidity. Se we’re doing our best to keep him cool. Then it was 2 baths the next morning, flea medicine (Advantix), and we also cleaned his ears and eyes. (When I say “we”, I really mean me). After the bath, he came to life, was very playful, and his tail finally started wagging . He is really friendly and well-mannered, trained too. But we have a very small house with a boxer, a cat and 3 young kids so he had to stay outside in the yard for the night. He slept inside the garage. The next morning, our youngest fell in the backyard and scraped his knee and Bernie came running to check on him. My wife and I looked at each other. The dog got to the kid before the parents! Bernie had no tags or chip (we scanned him at PetSmart). We reported him to Miami Dade’s Animal Shelter, posted flyers in the neighborhood (and at PetSmart), sent an email to our neighborhood association, posted on our facebook, emailed all our friends, and talked to neighbors. No one’s come forth yet. (We think someone just left him there). My kids already named him Bernie. (Our boxer’s name is Ernie). Ernie is not usually that cool with other dogs, but strangely enough, they get along like old friends. My point is that we can’t keep him... Money’s tight, house is small, kids are expensive. Could you guide us and pass along this info and his photos to anyone you think could help us, and more importantly, help Bernie. CONTACT; M. Moure 786-246-3988. 7/24/2011

Dallas: (Pasadena, TX) I found your website during my search of places to search for my saint bernard.  She got away from me on March 23rd in Pasadena at my father in laws house.  The last sighting of her was on Allendale and Richey street in Pasadena, tx in the Blockbuster parking lot following a group of older children.  She is a 3 1/2 year old rough coat female saint.  When last seen she was still wearing a pink camo collar with a yellow home again tag and a pink heart tag with my information on it.  She is microchipped in the base of her neck.  She is extremely friendly and loves car rides.  The really difficult part for me is she was my 1 year anniversary present from my husband and we picked her up on Mar 22.  I have wanted another saint since I lost my last one almost 7 years ago.  I have done everything I can think of including flyers in the area, contacting all pet stores, veterinarians, asking door to door, and daily drives through the area where she was last seen.   I do not know what else to do.  I am sending out her pics to any website that will take it in hopes of finding my baby, "Dallas".  I have attached several pics of her and if I need to do anything else please let me know.  My name is Jamie L Schmidt and my phone number is 281-309-7195.  I have my phone with me always as it is also the number on her collar.  Thank you for all you guys do. 4/1/2008

Maggie: (Newfield, NY) Our beloved St. Bernard, Maggie has been missing since July 1, 2007. Our family was on vacation and had someone dog sitting at our home. Our dog sitter went out about 5 pm on July 1, Maggie was at home with our lab. When the dogsitter returned about 10 pm, Maggie was missing and has not been seen by anyone in the neighborhood. Our lab did not leave the yard. It is unlike Maggie to leave the yard. This is not the first time we have left her with a dog sitter at our home. We traveled by car to Pittsburgh then to California via airplane. She came up missing on the 5th day we were gone. She is a spayed female, weighs 160 lbs and was wearing a blue collar. She is my baby, I brought her home on my lap and fulfilled a childhood dream. Our 3 children are missing her very much as well. Please contact us with any information at chrismis@peoplepc.com. This is a very loved dog. We live in Newfield, NY. 7/13/2007
