Millie: and Teddy: (Atlanta, GA) Millie is a 3.5 yo smooth spayed female, Teddy is a 3.5 yo rough neutered male. They are losing their home very soon due to divorce. We are trying to help the owner do a direct placement into a new home. The owner is willing to send along their collars, leashes, crates and bowls. These 2 are located just North of Atlanta. CONTACT; Stef Forsyth sforsyth68@yahoo.com 2/3/2012

Beethovan: (Cobb Co Georgia) is a 2yo male Saint mix in Cobb Co Georgia shelter. His ID number is 539736. Contact Cindy Ganues www.animalcontrol.cobbcountyga.gov 1/19/2012

Dodger: (Houston, TX) was found dodging traffic along the side of a busy Houston freeway.  He was matted and stinky, but has cleaned up well!  He is now neutered, and vaccinated, and waiting for his new home.  I believe he is part golden or lab and part St. Bernard. He has a very St. Bernard type face (and some of the telltale drool!). He is extremely loving, great with kids and already knows the sit command. He is medium HW positive so the vet recommend just medication at this point. He is a wonderful dog and great family dog. I think a child could sleep on top of him and he wouldn't mind. He is about 3 years old and weighs about 65 pounds. He has a beautiful red coat.  Unfortunately, Dodger is currently being housed at a kennel, because no foster homes are available for him.  Will you be his Christmas miracle?  Please contact; Rhonda  @ 832-767-2557 for more information about Dodger. 12/5/2011

Daemon: Daena: Daisy: Danny: Daphne: Dexter: Dillon: Diva: Dixie: Dolly: Dottie: Dozer: & Dresden: (Southern Texas) "Thirteen Saint bernard/black mouth cur mixed puppies looking for forever homes in Southern Texas. We are located about 45mins north of Houston. The mother is around 40lbs, very sweet temperament. She is protective of the house, intelligent, and an all around good dog. The father is 110lbs and growing he is very young, this litter was accidental). He is extremely mellow and loving. The father is a pet quality saint and does not have proper jowls for the breed, so the puppies will likely not drool. This was an accidental litter between a "supposedly" spayed cur that was dumped on my friends property, and her adolescent Saint bernard who she is waiting to neuter until he is older for medical reasons. Puppies will be temperament tested, have all their shots/wormings, and will have been started on house breaking and a few basic obedience commands (i.e. sit) before they leave. There will be a small adoption fee of $50 and a spay/neuter contract will have to be signed if they are adopted before 6 months. All remaining puppies will be fixed at 6 months. Please contact me at 832 655 9474, or Ratsofire@yahoo.com for more detail if interested." 9/11/2011

Eva: (Aiken, SC ) Eva is about 2 years old. She is very sweet and loves attention. She would prefer to be the only dog in your family. She is very active and loves to relax in her swimming pool. SPCA Requirements for Adoption 1. Most of our dogs will require a fenced in yard to allow them to play safely outdoors. 2. If you have other pets in the home, you will need to provide proof of current rabies vaccines. 3. If you rent your home, we will need to verify that you have your landlords approval for the pet. 4. If you have other pets, we strongly encourage you to bring them to the shelter to meet the animal you wish to adopt first, to make sure everyone will get along. Bear: (Wisconsin) I have a loving 3-year-old St. Bernard named Bear  that is looking for a good home ,It would be ideal for him to live in the suburbs or country with a single family (no kids or other dogs). He is 135 lbs and needs open space and lots of exercise. He loves to be around people, especially his owners, but he is currently medicated with Prozac for anxiety around dogs. He is up-to-date with all vaccinations and is neutered. Feel free to contact me with any questions regarding Bear. I want to ensure he goes to a good, loving home  Bear is too big for me to handle.    Maggie Gelber C 847-331-9280 O 312-226-4565. 6/27/2011

Humphrey: (Richmond, VA.) is a 6 year old male Saint Bernard. He weighs around 130 pounds and is in a foster home. He would probably be best as the only dog in a home and should not be in a home with cats. He loves to be with his person and would do best in a home with someone who is retired or home a considerable amount of time. If you would like to meet Humphrey, please submit an adoption application online at www.barkva.org or contact us at adopt@barkva.org or 804-449-BARK(2275). 6/1/2011

Festus: (Greensburg, Indiana) Hello potential adopters and/or rescuers. My name is Festus. I'm 6 months old and my owners called me a mini St. Bernard. I'm a happy guy who has landed himself into a kill shelter in Greensburg, Indiana. My mom and dad allowed me to run loose quite often in the country. They like many people in this area believe that it is acceptable to allow dogs to run all over raising havoc. To sum it up, the animal control officer picked me up, and brought me here. My parents didn't have the money to pay for my boarding and pickup fees so here I sit. As for my personality, I'm very friendly. I love to play with the other dogs. Smaller dogs seem to be intimidated by my size so they aren't as open to play. Ropes are my specialty. I had a tug-a-war competition with a cockapoo at Petco. I still say it was a fair battle. I've thoroughly enjoyed this winter weather because I've been able to romp around in the snow. The humans seem to complain a lot about it, but hey this is my weather!!! As for my feline counterparts, I do well with them. I have a large amount of respect for them and their sharp claws, so I stay away from them both. All in all I'd make a great pet for any family. I'm asking anyone to step up to the plate and please rescue me and give me a better home than the one I got previously. My adoption fee is $100. This includes my neuter, heartworm test, microchip, up to date vaccinations, parasite treatments (fleas, worms), 30 days free pet insurance, and a training video from Cesar Millan. To contact the shelter about me, ask for Laura Johnston. The number is 812-663-9081, or by e-mail at shelter22@frontier.com. Thanks, Festus. 2/20/2011

Rufis: (Port Jervis, NY) is a handsome 2 year old male St. Bernard. He is tri-color, housebroken and likes to play fetch. Rufis slept in the living room at his last home. He is protective of his food and would like a home without other dogs. We don't recommend a home with very young children but older kids would probably be ok. Rufis will be neutered by the shelter before he goes to a new home. He knows the commands for 'Sit', 'Lay down,' and 'Give paw.' CONTACT; call (845)856-3677 or visit (202 Rt. 209 N, Port Jervis, NY 12771) the shelter for more information. See our main site at www.pjhumane.org for more information about adoptions. 11/11/2010

Madonna: (Sheboygan, WI) My name is Madonna. I am 5 yrs old and am up to date on shots and have been spay. I love attention and would like to be the love of your life! I’d rather not share my attention with other animals. For more info call; Sheboygan County Humane Society Sheboygan, WI (920) 458-2012 9/3/2010

Saint Bernard Mix: (Potomac, Il) 4 years old, neutered, house broke. Good around cows and chickens and horses, (he does stay out of the horses way too).  He doesn't bother our cat at all, He has been fine with other dogs, our senior dog that passed and my daughters dog.   He is with older elementary kids and up.  He loves them and is a big baby around them. He is around small grandchildren too but I am careful to help them as he hasn't grown up with them.  He is a good guard dog, lets you know when strangers are around. He is an inside/outside dog. GREAT house manners. Doesn't get on furniture, doesn't take things off tables/counters. Doesn't chew or tear up things.  The problem is we have close neighbors and he doesn't like their dogs.  It is causing problems and we are going to rehome him to stop the neighbor conflicts.  He would be ideal for a farm or country home that doesn't have close neighbors.  He is UTD on shots and always on heartguard, also flea drops.
